As the daughter of a Pharmacist and an Entrepreneur, one could say I love the drug business. Even though I majored in Theatre in college, I was drawn to marketing and comms. right away.

I’m an industry veteran who is passionate about delivering results, leading an all-star team, and helping those in need. I get really excited about leveraging my experience to bring strategic guidance and practical solutions that lead clients through the challenges of an ever-changing, always challenging, highly regulated industry.

When I’m not working, I’m enjoying being a proud mom and step-mom, biking through the Hudson Valley, and skiing the big mountains out west. I make a mean sourdough bread, too.

I have spent 20 years in Digital Marketing and have never been bored. Digital is exciting as it is always changing – digital upskilling keeps your team up to date. The fact that digital is constantly evolving makes our upskilling and trainings so fun to deliver.

You only have one try to make a great first impression. Marketers need to be prepared to deliver what your customers want and not what you think they want. The saying “if you build it, they will come.” has a caveat – you need marketing, you need good, engaging marketing to drive your business forward. We give your teams the tools to succeed through competency programs and guidance.

I enjoy working with a lot of different people – marketing, legal, regulatory, privacy, strategy – and pulling everyone’s considerations together. I like to think I’m a good problem solver and I really enjoy working with a range of people to craft the right solutions. It’s all about teamwork and building a masterpiece with your partners.

And you can’t talk about teamwork without tipping your hat off to our team here at Hale. Our people are truly great and it’s such a pleasant place to work - the physical environment is beautiful yes, but also the company culture. It’s a great atmosphere.

Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors - hiking, biking, etc. and being on the water. I have at least a dozen children’s books memorized. Sometimes I'll do it when I’m bored just to challenge myself. I also rhyme all the time (and that rhymes – so you know it’s true!).

Throughout my career I’ve worked with teams in both large and small companies, driving institutional change to not only address new trends in culture and technology but to meet evolving customer expectations. As a former international business reporter, I know how to craft messages and develop stories that not just provide useful information, but that resonate and motivate audiences.

I have extensive experience using a wide range of tactics to reach, engage, and influence people. My work socializes new ideas and messages and encourages behavioral change that can impact business results.

I'm a strong believer in the role of a strong news media to a free and open society and continue to write and contribute content to help inform and educate the public.

I believe that project and process management are vital keys to an organization’s success. I keep people and projects moving forward and on track. Just think of me as the hub of the wheel – getting the right information out to people or getting the right people on a call to discuss next steps. I am the organizer. I am the scheduler. I will troubleshoot any problems that may arise on a project and come up with a plan to get things moving again – always with an eye on the deliverable date and always with a good sense of humor.

I’ve been called a project and process management ‘guru’. Do I like it when jobs stay on track? I sure do! But we all know that isn't always the case. If things go off the rails, I will rally the troops, work out a new timeline, get the right info to the right people - and will ultimately have a plan to get us moving in the right direction again. It’s what I do. It’s what I do best and what I’ve been doing for 20+ years in the field of direct marketing.

My favorite part of my job is collaborating with my clients. We connect strategically, bringing ideas to life and change to the forefront. We are living in a time where the only thing constant is change. Helping communicate change effectively is just of the things I bring to the table. I also manage various brand identities across multiple social platforms and help brands create a tailored approach to reaching their audience. Social media is now a part of our daily lives and with the right social strategy and approach, the opportunities are endless.
